Right, I've been seed saving my peter peppers today so after the operation of cleaning out I was left with the eviscerated remains of 3 peppers.
Chopped finely into a pan with a little olive oil (1 teaspoon) 1 medium red onion. 2 large tomatoes 2 cloves of garlic gently fried for 1 minute then added 100ml of water. Brought to boil then reduced for 45 minutes at a gentle simmer stirring regularly. Ran it through the blender after cooling then tasted ![]() ![]() Chili con carne tomorrow methinks but got to be careful as this stuff is hot. Everything except the olive oil homegrown. |
